Niall advises employers on all aspects of Irish employment law, with particular expertise in dealing with complex, business critical litigation such as whistleblowing claims and High Court employment injunctions. He also regularly advises on the employment aspects of corporate transactions and outsourcing projects, together with all issues relating to internal investigation, disciplinary, change management, redundancy and insolvency processes.
Niall works with large national and multinational clients in a variety of sectors, including technology, pharmaceuticals, medtech, aircraft leasing, fintech and financial services. With his experience of having worked in both the UK and Ireland, he is ideally placed to advise clients with operations that span both jurisdictions.
Niall is recognised in Legal 500 EMEA (2017 – 24) as “professional and solution focused” and able to “assimilate all complexities of the business to provide useful, balanced and practical advice” in Chambers Europe (2016 – 25). He is also recognised as a key lawyer in the International Employment Lawyer’s IEL Elite (2025), an inaugural guide to the world’s best employment and labour law teams.
